Size Information and How to Measure:

Please read it carefully (Important):

There is no standard Australian size. Every store or brand has its own size definition. So don't rely on the size you usually have and only choose the size base on a proper measurement. Please note we are not responsible for incorrect sizing choice. Please also read "Fitting" section in dress description page, it helps you to detemine the dress size for individual dresss style. All dresses are designed for people with average height and normal body shape. If you are too tall or too short, or odd body shape, please carefully choose the dress style. Remember if you need help, you can always email us with your measurement (bust, under bust, waist and hip sizes) and the dress you want, we are happy to give our best suggestion.

.
a few definitions in dress "fitting" section
Form-fitting: When form-fitting, the measurement stated in size chart is the maximum you can go, so you need to make sure your measurement doesn't excess the limit otherwise may lead to a tight fit.
Semi-fitting: When semi-fitting, the measurement stated in size chart is not exactly required, your measurement can be a little more than the size stated.
Easy-fitting: When easy-fitting, you can almost ignore what stated in size chart, basically it's free-fitting unless very odd body shape.

* Dress length is just for your guideline only. Individual dress can be different depends on the style. So please email us if it is important for you.

A few more Important Point:

  • When you make the measurement, please make sure your arms should be straight down otherwise will lead to incorrect result. So please ask someone's help if possible. The tape measure should be kept horizontal and not too tight and not too loose.
  • Dress size you choose is determined by your measurement but also the dress style. Different dress style has different way of fitting, so you may need different sizes for different dresses.
  • Don't be surprised if you need size 18 although normally you only wear size 14. Formal dress is totally different sized with casual dress. Casual dress has no curve on wasit and usually has size expansion, so anyone doesn't matter what body shape can fit into it. Formal dress is sized exactly as it stated.
  • If you have a flat chest or broad back, it's worth for you to consider under bust size. please note your bust measurement can be misleading as the size you choose according your bust measurement is too small for your under bust. Email us if you need help.

Don't guess your size, choose the size by a proper measurement!!!

How to Measure:
When you make the measurement, please make sure your arms should be straight down otherwise will lead to incorrect result. So please ask someone's help if possible.

Bust - Take measurements whilst wearing a suitable bra but without outer garments. Measure under arm around the fullest part of bust. The tape measure should be kept horizontal and your arms should be down. Not too tight and not too loose. If you have a flat chest or broad back, please note your bust measurement can be misleading as the size you choose according your bust measurement is too small for your under bust. In this case, please choose the size base on under bust measurement.

Under-bust - Measure around you rib cage.

Waist - Measure around natural waist line making sure tape fits securely yet comfortably. Your waistline is the thinnest point on your waist, just above your hip bones. Usually it's about 1-2 inches above your belly button (Not the waistline when you wear jeans).

Hip - Measure around the fullest part of the hip, again make sure tape fits comfortably but not too loose.
